I'm excited to debut the latest addition to my Crazy Sisters series. Meet "Little Miss Messy Middle."​

Don't let her bent, tarnished crown fool you. She speaks to all of us who feel a little life-worn, doing the best we can with the cards we've been dealt especially within the fractured, discordant age in which we live.​

People ask if I had someone in mind as I paint each sister in this series. No...I don't. Each sister, especially "Little Miss Messy Middle," comes from observing all manner of people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, political views, ability or location. They represent moments when our social masks slip, exposing the authentic person lying just below the surface.
